The NAFS conference will be hosted at Hotel Fortin which is located within walking distance (~20 minutes) to downtown. This venue will host the pre-conference workshops, opening mixer, main scientific meeting, coffee breaks, breakfast, and lunch.
TRANSPORTATION
To search flights, consider the Oaxaca Xoxocotlán Airport in Oaxaca de Juárez, México. Oaxaca Airport is located approximately 8.4 mi (13.5 km) from the center of Oaxaca City and takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes to travel from Oaxaca Airport to the city center.
Direct flights for Oaxaca Xoxocotlán Airport occur from Dallas and Los Angeles, but you can also prepare a connection flight in which we recommend based on number of departures from Mexico city, Monterrey, Nuevo León or Guadalajara, Jalisco.

Important than Uber does not operate in Oaxaca but what is available instead is DiDi which is similar application.
